01 / Capture inquiries

Missed Call Revenue Calculator

Model the opportunity in unanswered inquiries that have not already been recovered.

A typical month. Exclude spam and repeat calls about the same opportunity.
Share of those inquiries not answered initially.
Share of missed inquiries already reached or recovered through another channel.
Of unrecovered inquiries, the share you assume would fit your services.
Of qualified inquiries, the share expected to book a consultation, service visit, inspection, or sales meeting.
Of booked appointments, the share you assume would become won jobs.
Revenue per won job, project, or service, before costs. Enter your own value.

Use your own inputs or try a clearly labeled example.

Your scenario

Start with your numbers.

Complete the fields and select “Calculate scenario” to see the breakdown.

How this is calculated

Unique inquiries × missed share × (1 − recovered share) × qualified share × booking rate × booked-to-won rate × average job value. Percentages are divided by 100.

Expected job counts can be fractional. Annualized opportunity is monthly opportunity × 12, assuming identical activity and conversion each month. It is not a forecast, measured loss, profit, or guaranteed recovery.

02 / Follow through

Estimate Follow-Up Calculator

Explore what an assumed increase in conversions could mean for estimates without follow-up.

Exclude duplicates, expired quotes, declined jobs, and revised versions.
Share of these estimates already receiving follow-up.
Assumed extra wins per 100 estimates without follow-up—not your total close rate.
Revenue per additional won job, before costs.

Use your own inputs or try a clearly labeled example.

Your scenario

Start with your numbers.

Complete the fields and select “Calculate scenario” to see the breakdown.

How this is calculated

Eligible estimates × (1 − follow-up coverage) × assumed additional conversion rate × average job value. Percentages are divided by 100.

Additional conversion is a percentage-point assumption applied only to estimates without follow-up. This is incremental opportunity, not a prediction. Annualizing assumes the same flow of new eligible estimates every month; do not annualize a one-time backlog.

03 / Review the whole process

Business Revenue Leakage Review

Bring the scenarios together. Keep sales opportunity, unbilled work, overdue cash, and rework costs distinct.

Monthly modeled sales opportunity from the first calculator, or your own scenario.
Monthly modeled sales opportunity from the second calculator, or your own scenario.
Monthly dollars represented in BOTH sales scenarios. Enter 0 only if there is no overlap.
Current value of approved, completed work not yet invoiced. Exclude invoiced balances.
Current unpaid balance past its due date. A cash-timing measure, not assumed loss.
A typical month of additional labor, materials, and travel costs.

Use your own inputs or try a clearly labeled example.

Your scenario

Start with your numbers.

Complete the fields and select “Build my review” to see the breakdown.

How this is calculated

Monthly sales opportunity = missed-call opportunity + estimate follow-up opportunity − overlapping opportunity. Overlap cannot exceed the smaller of the two scenarios. Unbilled work, overdue balances, and monthly rework costs are shown separately.

Use the same monthly period and reconcile overlapping leads before combining the sales scenarios. Enter current balances for unbilled work and overdue invoices. These balances are not annualized or added to sales opportunity. There is no “total lost revenue” claim.
